Dr. Emanuela Podda has a legal background and, having obtained a PhD in Law, Science & Technology, she conducts research at the intersection of law and computer science. Her research looks at how the law affects specific data processing operations and how data governance models are designed to meet the legal and regulatory requirements. She is also a qualified lawyer with professional experience within the European institutions.
